Genesis Systems, a technology company specializing in solutions for water scarcity, has been awarded a $1.25 million contract by the U.S. Air Force. This contract aims to develop Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) filtration technologies for use with Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) and Renewable Water from Air (RWA) systems. These systems are designed to extract water from the atmosphere, ensuring safe and potable water even in challenging environments.
The integration of CBRN protections into AWG and RWA technologies addresses critical defense and operational needs. This development is vital for safeguarding military personnel from threats that could contaminate water supplies, such as pollution, open burn pits, and CBRN attacks. “This is an essential first-of-a-kind product development,” said David Stuckenberg, Co-Founder and President of Genesis Systems. He emphasized the importance of these systems in protecting water supplies and maintaining operational readiness across all branches of the Armed Forces.
By combining advanced filtration with quantum encryption and EMP hardening, Genesis Systems is pushing the boundaries of water security technology. These innovations are expected to reduce the need for continuous logistics or water resupply, providing uninterrupted water access in even the harshest environments.
