Semler Scientific, a healthcare technology firm, has expanded its Bitcoin holdings by purchasing an additional 215 bitcoins for $17.7 million between November 6 and November 15, 2024.

The acquisition was made at an average price of $82,502 per bitcoin, inclusive of fees and expenses.

Since adopting a Bitcoin treasury strategy on May 28, 2024, Semler Scientific has accumulated a total of 1,273 bitcoins at an aggregate purchase price of $88.7 million, averaging $69,682 per bitcoin.

The company views Bitcoin as a reliable store of value and a compelling investment.

The company has introduced a key performance indicator (KPI) called “BTC Yield” to assess the performance of its Bitcoin acquisition strategy. From July 1, 2024, to November 15, 2024, Semler Scientific reported a BTC Yield of 37.3%, indicating substantial Bitcoin accretion for stakeholders.
