CoreSite Enhances VA3 Data Center with Advanced Infrastructure Upgrades

CoreSite Realty Corporation has achieved a significant milestone at its VA3 data center in Reston, Virginia, with the completion of a new 38,000-square-foot, 8-megawatt data hall suite.

This expansion underscores CoreSite’s commitment to providing scalable and resilient colocation capacity in Fairfax County.

The project was executed in collaboration with DPR Construction, a partner known for delivering high-quality data center facilities.

The newly upgraded data hall features advanced structural reinforcements, a new roof, two generators, and a complete interior fit-out.

These enhancements are designed to support high-performance capabilities, including 400G AWS Direct Connect cloud access, catering to the growing demand for robust and efficient data center services.

CoreSite’s VA3 facility is part of the company’s Northern Virginia campus, which includes VA1 and VA2 data centers.

The campus offers over 100 megawatts of capacity at full build-out, providing direct, low-latency access to major cloud service providers. This interconnected ecosystem enables businesses to deploy hybrid and multi-cloud solutions effectively.

The expansion aligns with CoreSite’s ongoing efforts to support digital transformation initiatives by offering scalable infrastructure and advanced connectivity options.

By enhancing the VA3 facility, CoreSite continues to meet the evolving needs of enterprises seeking high-performance data center solutions in the Northern Virginia region.
