1. Word count: needs to be 250 words or more. We encourage the use of AI (chat gpt, microsoft co pilot). to help curate stories. I have a template available to put into the AI terminal (you can also create your own template!)
2. To add a new post click on the “NEW” icon at the top left and corner of the dashboard.
   

3. Relevant vidoes/posts for stories – add youtube and/or twitter posts to the news story to further verify your tech news story. Do this by clicking on the blue “+” sign.  You must add one relevant social media source to the story. If the embed doesn’t work, screen shot the post and post the screen shot instead.

4. Hyperlinks! We want you to hyperlink 2 previous relevant stories from the bitcoinversus.tech website and one outside source. For instance if it’s a story about Microstrategy. Highlight the word microstrategy, then search for and hyperlink a previous story that was previously written on the bitcoin versus platform. Keywords, companies, and assets should be hyperlinked to Bitcoinversus.tech stories. 

Keywords like “bitcoin” or “crypto” or “Blackrock” or “Satoshi Nakomoto”. Stories from a 3rd party should be hyperlinked into non key words like “reported” or “launched” etc. if you cannot find a story to hyperlink your word to, that’s okay just complete the story.

5. When posting a new story, the settings tab on the right side of the dashboard will have all of your seo/smo tools. Feel free to schedule your post at a different time if think it’s appropriate. You can change the url, the title, photo, etc. 

6. As you scroll down in the settings colum,n you will see an optional excerpt. This will appear on the site before they actually click on the story. Your excerpt can be AI generated. This can also help with SEO or SMO titles

7. Please make sure you put the appropriate tag. We have 5 main subjects that we utilize for categorizing the story 1.Intel (exclusive story or relatively unknown story 2. Trending News (all trending bitcoin/tech news) 3. Bitcoin Mining 4. Sports and 4.Culture (Music, Entertainment, Celebrities). Your news story/opinion piece may not fit neatly into the main categories but please highlight whichever one is the most relevant to your story. If a new category needs to be added, please add a new category.
8. When you click on the jetpack icon in the top right corner, you will be able to link any social links that you wish to link the story to when you publish it. If it is linked to my pages as an editor make sure the Linkedin tab is off but the Facebook tab should be toggled on.
