Apple’s Vision Pro 2 Expected to Launch Between Fall 2025 and Spring 2026

Apple is reportedly preparing to release the second generation of its mixed-reality headset, the Vision Pro 2, between fall 2025 and spring 2026.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the development is on track for this timeline, with the new model anticipated to feature enhanced performance and capabilities.

Industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that the Vision Pro 2 will be equipped with Apple’s M5 chip, offering a significant upgrade over the current M2 processor. This advancement is expected to support more demanding applications and improve overall user experience.

In addition to the high-end model, Apple is reportedly working on a more affordable version of the Vision Pro headset. However, the release of this budget-friendly option may be delayed until 2027, as the company focuses on refining its features and market positioning.

The original Vision Pro, launched in February 2024, received mixed reviews, with some users citing discomfort and a high price point as concerns.

Apple aims to address these issues in the upcoming iterations, striving to make spatial computing more accessible and comfortable for a broader audience.
