Michael Saylor Predicts Bitcoin Price Reaching $13 Million by 2045

Michael Saylor, executive chairman of MicroStrategy, has forecasted that Bitcoin could hit $13 million per coin within the next 21 years.

Speaking on CNBC, Saylor explained that his projection is based on Bitcoin eventually accounting for 7% of global capital, a significant leap from its current 0.1% share.

He believes Bitcoin’s market capitalization could soar to $280 trillion by 2045, cementing its status as the dominant global asset.

Saylor’s company, MicroStrategy, is already the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, with a stake of 226,500 BTC valued at over $12.8 billion. He points out that his strategy of accumulating Bitcoin has significantly outperformed traditional assets, achieving an 825% return since the company began its Bitcoin investments in 2020.

This long-term forecast comes amidst a growing trend of bullish predictions, with other analysts also projecting strong future growth for Bitcoin. Standard Chartered Bank, for instance, expects Bitcoin to reach $150,000 by the end of 2024.
