CleanSpark Acquires Seven Bitcoin Mining Facilities in Tennessee for $27.5M

CleanSpark, a leading U.S. Bitcoin mining firm, has announced its acquisition of seven cryptocurrency mining sites in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The $27.5 million deal includes the mining facilities and associated land, adding a total power capacity of 85 megawatts (MW). This acquisition will boost CleanSpark’s mining capacity by 5 exahashes per second (EH/s), marking a 22% increase in the company’s hashrate​.

The new sites range from 10 MW to 20 MW in capacity and will be powered by Bitmain’s S21 Pro miners, which are set to be installed soon.

CleanSpark’s focus on scaling its mining operations demonstrates its commitment to sustainable growth.
