Bitcoin to Become 7% of Global Capital by 2043, Predicts Michael Saylor

In a bold prediction, Michael Saylor, the co-founder of MicroStrategy, has forecasted that Bitcoin will reach a price of $13 million per coin over the next 21 years. Saylor believes Bitcoin’s global importance will continue to rise, growing to represent 7% of all global capital, up from its current share of 0.1%.

He outlined these predictions during a recent interview on CNBC’s Squawk Box, where he explained that Bitcoin’s annual growth rate, historically around 44%, will lead to massive gains in the future.

Saylor’s optimism is driven by Bitcoin’s liquidity and its open, global capital market, which he argues makes it superior to traditional assets like gold. Under his leadership, MicroStrategy has become one of the largest corporate holders of Bitcoin, with 226,500 BTC valued at over $12.8 billion. According to Saylor, Bitcoin’s market cap could reach $257 trillion by 2045, assuming a continued 23,417% growth from current prices.

While many share Saylor’s bullish outlook, some remain skeptical due to Bitcoin’s volatility. However, long-term investors and Bitcoin enthusiasts are closely following these predictions as global adoption continues to grow. As more institutional players enter the space, Bitcoin’s potential as a dominant global asset continues to be a topic of intense discussion.
