CompTIA, short for the Computing Technology Industry Association, is a globally recognized nonprofit trade organization that issues professional IT certifications. It is best known for certifications like A+, Network+, and Linux+, which validate foundational and specialized tech skills.
CompTIA plays a major role in setting industry standards for information technology education and workforce development.
I really enjoy taking the exams. It’s good for training purposes. I scheduled an exam for April 5th and then rescheduled for April 12th…
I told close relatives about the rescheduling and recall scheduling the exam for the 12th sometime in the Month of March.
I wake up Sunday Morning to check on my exams and their status. The Linux+ exam is still there.
I went ahead and Scheduled the CompTIA A+ Core 2 exam just to make sure that the voucher and retake was still valid as well.
But the CompTIA A+ Core 1 exam was gone!
I was lowkey devastated.
To wake up and check up on something you’ve been preparing for for the last 4 months only for it to be gone or unavailable can be infuriating.
I’ve put a lot of time and effort in passing Core 1 (I have an entire module on the website dedicated to studying Core 1).
The other thing about it is it obviously costs to take the exam. So I had to pay for the exam again.
But here’s the weird thing about that. The bank account (card) I’ve used to purchase the exam and other exams all of the sudden doesn’t work!
I had to purchase a voucher from Professor Messer just to get a chance to take the Exam. The module I have is a simply a study resource. I’m not sure if someone on the staff got wind of my publishing and got upset or what but this is pretty much absolutely ridiculous.
I say all that to say that I just want to pass the exam and then give that knowledge back to other people.
You guys are welcome to review my CompTIA modules to help you prepare for the exam. I will give an update on this one later.
If I’m not able to complete Core 1101, I will have to just take the free version of the COMPTIA A+ exam.
