Canaan Increases Bitcoin Production and Expands Hashrate in North America

Canaan Inc. reported a 9.8% increase in Bitcoin mined for March 2025, totaling 90 BTC.

The China-based manufacturer and mining operator continues to strengthen its presence in North America, adding 0.32 exahashes per second (EH/s) to its operational capacity.

The company also confirmed plans to deploy an additional 4.7 EH/s in computing power, highlighting a major scaling initiative aimed at offsetting revenue volatility following the Bitcoin halving.

The firm launched its next-generation A16 mining machine during the same period, expected to improve operational efficiency across both internal mining operations and client deployments.

Canaan stated that its revenue structure remained steady, with 58.6% derived from $CAN-related income, demonstrating consistency amid fluctuating market conditions.

According to Canaan’s latest update, the firm continues to blend its hardware sales and proprietary mining operations as part of its dual growth strategy.
