Bitdeer Achieves 9.7 J/TH Efficiency with SEAL03 Bitcoin Mining Chip

Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: BTDR) has successfully completed testing of its latest Bitcoin mining chip, SEAL03, achieving a power efficiency of 9.7 joules per terahash (J/TH) in ultra power-saving mode. This milestone aligns with the company’s SEALMINER technology roadmap and reflects its commitment to advancing mining performance and energy efficiency.

Developed in collaboration with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), SEAL03 utilizes advanced semiconductor process nodes to enhance performance.

The chip is slated for integration into Bitdeer’s upcoming SEALMINER A3 series, with mass production scheduled for the second half of 2025.

Bitdeer’s Chief Business Officer, Matt Kong, emphasized the significance of this achievement, stating that SEAL03 has met critical performance milestones following prototype testing.

The company’s R&D efforts continue with the development of the next-generation SEAL04 chip, aiming for further improvements in efficiency and performance.
