FPT and NAVER Cloud have signed a memorandum of understanding to expand AI Factory and GPU-as-a-service work across Asia-Pacific.

NAVER’s official release says the companies plan to combine GPU infrastructure, cloud technology and customer networks to pursue AI infrastructure opportunities in Korea, Japan, Vietnam and other APAC markets. Engineering teams are expected to work together on GPU optimization, inference performance and deploying AI agents in production environments.

The FPT announcement adds that NAVER Cloud’s HyperCLOVA X model is expected to be offered to FPT enterprise customers through FPT AI Factory. The releases do not disclose financial terms.

An earlier FPT Software post from the Vietnam–Korea Business Forum shows the company’s broader push into Korean data-center infrastructure.

The deal fits a wider buildout of regional AI infrastructure. BitcoinVersus.Tech has recently covered Cisco and Supermicro AI Factory systems, a $100 million AI inference order, and Applied Digital’s AI Factory expansion.

The key distinction is that this is an MOU outlining planned cooperation, not an acquisition or a disclosed long-term capacity contract. Actual customer deployments, pricing and capacity commitments will determine how large the partnership becomes.
