Pegatron is using the 2026 Open Compute Project Global Summit to show how next-generation AI hardware moves from a reference design into a production-ready rack.
In an October 14 announcement, Pegatron said its OCP lineup now spans rack-scale AI, compute and storage systems built around ORv3 busbars, DC-MHS modular hardware, OCP 3.0 network adapters and liquid cooling.
The centerpiece is the RA4803-72N3, a fully liquid-cooled NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 rack with 72 Rubin GPUs, 36 Vera CPUs and sixth-generation NVLink. Pegatron is also showing the AS210-2T1-8H3, a 2U Rubin NVL8 system, plus rack configurations with up to 64 or 72 GPUs.
The important part is not only the GPU count. Pegatron says its manufacturing workflow connects digital-twin simulation, automated production, thermal validation and rack-level run-in testing before deployment. That follows the same industry shift BitcoinVersus.Tech has covered in MSI’s open AI infrastructure, xFusion’s power and cooling work and Wiwynn’s live optical compute system.
ServeTheHome’s earlier hardware inspection independently documented Pegatron’s NVL72 rack, including its compute nodes, NVLink switching, power shelves and management hardware. OCP 2026 shows the company pushing that hardware toward a repeatable manufacturing and deployment process rather than treating it as a one-off demonstration.
