FireFly Robotics says its AMP-L100 fleet has now mowed more than 150,000 acres autonomously, doubling the 75,000-acre figure it reported in May. The company says the fleet is operating across 33 U.S. states, plus Puerto Rico, Mexico and Canada, with average productivity of 4.8 acres per hour, including turns but excluding overlap. FireFly published the milestone on its site.
The update adds a real-world utilization metric to the company’s recent Nasdaq direct-listing filing, which disclosed more than 900 machines in service across FireFly’s broader product portfolio. Its SEC registration statement is still subject to SEC review and Nasdaq approval.
FireFly says newer features such as PathLink and SmartStart reduce how often crews must reposition or directly manage the mower. That fits the broader shift toward integrated robotic drive systems where navigation, traction, sensors and software operate as one system. In practice, the machines are performing continuous AI inference and control in changing outdoor environments.
The 150,000-acre figure is company-reported and is not independently audited. It does, however, provide another measurable datapoint on how frequently FireFly’s autonomous equipment is being used while the company works toward becoming publicly traded.
