L&T Technology Services has opened an AI-native manufacturing lab in Bengaluru, India, built around NVIDIA technologies, digital twins and autonomous factory systems.
According to LTTS’ October 12 announcement, the Engineering Intelligence Lab is designed to let manufacturers test AI-driven production, virtual validation, connected operations and increasingly autonomous systems before deploying them at scale. The company says the lab combines manufacturing intelligence, AI-native factory workflows, operations AI and its EIOne platform.
Business Standard reports the facility uses NVIDIA and Siemens technologies and that LTTS plans a similar U.S. lab by the end of its current financial year. NVIDIA’s role includes hardware, software and world models for simulation-first industrial AI.
The project fits a wider shift toward physical AI. BitcoinVersus has recently covered Google Intrinsic opening its industrial robotics stack, UBTECH scaling humanoid production, and NVIDIA’s expansion of AI manufacturing in the U.S.
A GamesBeat post from NVIDIA GTC 2026 highlighted NVIDIA’s open physical-AI data-factory blueprint, which provides useful context for the technologies now moving into industrial labs like LTTS’ facility.
