OpenAI Brings DevDay to Eight Cities

Diverse software developers collaborating at a global technology event

OpenAI is taking its DevDay developer program to eight cities, beginning with Bengaluru on October 16, 2026. The official DevDay Exchange schedule lists Tokyo on October 20, Seoul on October 22, Berlin on October 26, Paris on October 28, London on November 3, São Paulo on November 6, and Mexico City on November 10.

The smaller events follow OpenAI’s September 29 conference in San Francisco. OpenAI says the exchanges will bring developers and technical founders together for technical sessions with its product and engineering teams, demonstrations of real projects and Codex workflows, hands-on guidance, and discussions with other builders.

Applications are still accepted, although OpenAI says applications are being reviewed. Each event is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. local time, with venue details and full programs provided after approval. The company has not published a uniform attendance capacity for all eight locations.

The tour follows a DevDay featuring products such as Dots, ChatGPT Space, and GPT-6.1 Sol. The exchanges offer regional developers a chance to examine those tools and meet OpenAI teams, but the company has not promised new product launches at each stop.
