Agility Robotics has cleared another regulatory step toward its proposed combination with Churchill Capital Corp XI. An SEC-filed October 13 press release says the companies’ joint Form S-4 registration statement was declared effective and that Churchill XI scheduled a November 2 shareholder meeting to vote on the transaction.
The companies expect Agility to trade under the ticker AGLT if the combination closes. Agility’s announcement describes the transaction as expected to create the only U.S. publicly listed pure-play humanoid robotics company with active commercial deployments. That outcome is not complete yet: shareholder approval and closing conditions still matter.
Agility Robotics explains why its Digit humanoid uses a legged form factor for warehouse and manufacturing work.
Agility’s public-market move arrives as humanoid robotics shifts from laboratory demonstrations toward factory and logistics deployments. BitcoinVersus.Tech has been following that transition through our Top 7 Humanoid Robots in 2026 and Schaeffler’s robot-training gym.
For investors, the key distinction is between regulatory effectiveness and a completed listing. The S-4 becoming effective allows the shareholder vote process to proceed; it does not guarantee that the business combination closes on the expected terms or timetable. For the technology itself, commercialization still depends on uptime, task economics and energy availability—issues that become visible in developments such as Digit’s faster charging work.
