Agility Robotics confirmed on November 4, 2026, that it completed a business combination with Churchill Capital Corp XI, taking the Oregon humanoid-robot developer into the public markets. Shares and warrants of the combined company are expected to begin Nasdaq trading November 5 under AGLT and AGLTW. Completion of the merger is confirmed; the announcement does not independently establish that trading has already begun.
What is Digit? Agility’s Digit is a two-legged industrial robot built to move bins and materials through workplaces designed around people. Cameras, motors, balance controls and robotic arms support repetitive warehouse work, while Agility Arc coordinates fleet operations. Earlier Digit generations already operate commercially. The newly unveiled Digit 5 is a redesigned model targeting closer human cooperation, but commercial deliveries remain a future milestone.
Agility Robotics’ October 2024 video documents Digit beginning commercial work at a GXO warehouse in June 2024. Historical operating footage, not the November 2026 merger or Digit 5.
The closing advances a plan previously covered by BitcoinVersus.Tech when Agility moved toward a public listing in October. Churchill shareholders approved the transaction November 2. Before closing, the companies estimated approximately $465 million in gross capital from $164 million in trust proceeds, a $201 million private placement and $100 million of equity funding already received. The estimate is not a statement of new net cash after expenses or proof that every announced amount is immediately available for robot production.
The technology has a genuine operating record. Under a commercial Robots-as-a-Service agreement begun in 2024, GXO used Digit to move warehouse totes at Flowery Branch, Georgia. GXO says the machines have handled more than 100,000 totes there, supporting a comparison with the deployments cataloged in BitcoinVersus.Tech’s humanoid robots performing real jobs. The milestone indicates completed handling cycles, not a published count of robots, labor hours saved or profitability.

Agility and GXO also plan new deployments in Statesville, North Carolina, and Lebanon, Tennessee, starting in early 2027 with Digit 4. A later switch to Digit 5 depends on the new model becoming commercially available. Likewise, the company’s agreement for an AGCO factory pilot in Kansas concerns work expected to begin in 2027, not a robot fleet already producing at the site.
Digit 5 carries more than $300 million in committed multi-year orders, according to Agility. The company explicitly cautions that fulfillment depends on contractual milestones and product capabilities and does not represent current-period revenue. Agility expects early-access deliveries in the first half of 2027 and broader availability toward year-end. Its manufacturing site, RoboFab, is designed for capacity of up to 10,000 robots annually; design capacity cannot be treated as actual annual production or shipments.
Agility Robotics’ official September 2026 introduction presents the proposed Digit 5 model and its safety design. Product development imagery, not footage of completed Digit 5 commercial deliveries.
Scaling industrial humanoids also depends on safety, endurance and uptime. Digit 5’s proposed cooperative-safety capabilities are still being developed and must be validated in each working environment. BitcoinVersus.Tech has covered Agility’s FORT Robotics safety collaboration and its nine-minute battery-charging target. Neither a supplier agreement nor an early product demonstration guarantees 24-hour industrial reliability.
Agility reports more than 65,000 operating hours for Digit across real workplaces. The figure is a company-reported aggregate, not a certification for Digit 5 or an independently audited availability metric. Public investors and industrial buyers must now examine robot costs, field maintenance, utilization, safety outcomes and repeat customer demand. The next evidence will be verified Nasdaq trading, regulatory filings, additional live deployments and fulfilled Digit 5 deliveries—not merely investment commitments or future production targets.
