Navitas Semiconductor and Wise Integration are teaming up to develop more efficient power systems for AI data centers and high-performance computers.

The companies announced the collaboration September 25. Their work will combine Navitas’ gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC) power semiconductors with Wise Integration’s digital-control technology. A major focus will be AI data-center power supply units and new grid-to-chip power-conversion designs.

AI servers are pushing data centers toward higher power density, making conversion efficiency increasingly important. The partnership fits the broader move toward 800V data-center power architecture, where advanced power semiconductors can help reduce conversion losses between the grid and computing hardware.

Wise Integration says its WiseWare digital-control technology can optimize power conversion in real time. Navitas is contributing its GaN and SiC platforms, which target high-voltage and high-power applications.
