Atlantic HPC Takes 51 MW Bitcoin Mining Platform Toward Nasdaq

Atlantic HPC Group has signed a definitive agreement to go public through a business combination with Aperture AC, putting a $150 million pre-money equity value on a digital-infrastructure company whose current operating base is primarily Bitcoin mining.

The September 11 transaction is especially relevant to miners because Atlantic is attempting to turn an existing power-and-mining footprint into an AI and high-performance computing development platform rather than starting with a greenfield data-center portfolio.

51 MW of operating Bitcoin mining capacity

Atlantic and Aperture said Atlantic has 98 MW of utility-approved power capacity across six sites in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Ohio. Of that total, 51 MW is classified as operating Bitcoin mining capacity and 47 MW is under development for HPC. Another 23 MW is held for potential future development.

The company’s fiscal 2026 figures are unaudited. Atlantic reported $28.6 million of revenue, $4.4 million of EBITDA, a 1.9 EH/s hashrate and 303 Bitcoin mined during the fiscal year.

The Ohio mining site is part of the AI transition

Atlantic’s site plan shows 20 MW of Bitcoin mining in Oklahoma City, 22 MW across two Arkansas mining sites and 9 MW allocated to mining in Alledonia, Ohio. The company says that 9 MW block is currently offline while mining hardware is upgraded.

At the same Ohio location, Atlantic lists 26 MW of HPC development across three phases. Its proposed model is deliberately infrastructure-focused: Atlantic expects to provide a powered shell while the tenant supplies cooling, racks, GPUs, servers, storage and networking.

Existing power connections are the core asset

The strategy illustrates why Bitcoin mining infrastructure is increasingly relevant to the AI buildout. Mining campuses already require utility interconnections, transformers, switchgear, high-density electrical distribution, cooling and around-the-clock operations. Those assets can shorten parts of the development process when a site is technically and commercially suitable for a different compute workload.

Atlantic’s investor materials describe a total 121 MW development platform when its operating, developing and future-development capacity is considered. The company cautions that its AI/HPC business has not yet generated material revenue and that the Ohio conversion still requires infrastructure work and other execution steps.

The transaction still has conditions

The proposed merger is expected to result in the combined company trading on Nasdaq under the ticker AHPC. Atlantic shareholders are expected to roll all of their equity into the combined company. The transaction is targeted for the first quarter of 2027 but remains subject to shareholder, regulatory, exchange and other closing conditions.

The structure provides another concrete example of the trend BitcoinVersus.tech has been tracking: mining operators are increasingly treating energized megawatts, land and utility relationships as infrastructure assets that can support both SHA-256 mining and higher-value compute markets.

One response to “Atlantic HPC Takes 51 MW Bitcoin Mining Platform Toward Nasdaq”

  1. […] Hut 8’s development strategy grew out of experience securing power and building industrial-scale Bitcoin infrastructure. Its corporate materials describe Beacon Point as a site originally secured on an ASIC-compute thesis before being repositioned for hyperscale AI. That makes the project a particularly clear example of the infrastructure crossover also visible in Soluna’s mining-to-AI expansion and Atlantic HPC’s mining and HPC platform. […]
