Bitdeer Mines 288.1 BTC and Sells 288.4 BTC

Bitdeer mined 288.1 BTC in its latest weekly update and sold 288.4 BTC, leaving the Bitcoin miner with zero pure BTC holdings as of September 25.

The latest figures continue a pattern Bitdeer has used during 2026: mine Bitcoin, sell production and keep little or no pure Bitcoin on the balance sheet. The company reported 288.1 BTC of weekly output and 288.4 BTC sold, with zero net BTC added.

Bitdeer keeps selling its weekly Bitcoin production

The difference between production and sales was small, but the balance-sheet result is clear. Bitdeer reported no pure Bitcoin holdings after the latest week. Earlier this year, CEO Jihan Wu said a zero balance at a given point did not necessarily mean the company would always hold zero Bitcoin.

The strategy stands out because Bitdeer has simultaneously expanded mining output. In its August operations update, the company reported 1,310 BTC mined during the month, up 249% year over year, and self-mining hashrate of about 79.9 EH/s.

Mining and AI now share the same infrastructure story

Bitdeer is no longer only a Bitcoin-mining story. Its August update said its 9.5 MW A102 AI facility in Malaysia was fully contracted ahead of energization, representing more than $800 million in expected revenue. It also reported a 10-year agreement for another 65.1 MW at its Johor campus and continued development of AI and high-performance computing capacity.

That makes the weekly Bitcoin sales relevant beyond treasury management. Bitdeer is generating more mining output while directing capital toward ASIC development, data centers and AI infrastructure. Selling mined Bitcoin gives the company cash rather than adding additional BTC price exposure to its balance sheet.

BitcoinVersus.tech will continue tracking whether Bitdeer maintains the zero-holdings approach as its mining fleet and AI infrastructure expand.
