Strive added another 3,311 bitcoin to its corporate treasury between October 5 and October 9, taking its total holdings to 32,773 BTC.

According to the company’s October 13 SEC filing, Strive paid an average of about $84,500 per bitcoin, including fees and expenses. That puts the latest purchase at roughly $280 million.

Strive CEO Matt Cole discussed the company’s capital position and warrant exercises on October 13 as the treasury update was filed.

The purchase raised Strive’s Bitcoin balance from 29,462 BTC on October 2 to 32,773 BTC on October 9, an increase of about 11.2% in one week. The filing also showed cash and cash equivalents of about $310.3 million at the end of the period.

The Block reported that the purchase was Strive’s largest increase in Bitcoin holdings since January, when the company expanded through its merger with Semler Scientific.

Bitcoin Magazine’s 2026 interview with Matt Cole explains Strive’s Bitcoin treasury strategy and the capital structure behind its accumulation model.

Strive is part of a wider corporate race to accumulate Bitcoin through public-market financing. BitcoinVersus.Tech recently ranked Cole among its 2026 Proof of Work Awards honorable mentions, while Metaplanet has continued expanding its own treasury strategy and Strategy remains the dominant corporate Bitcoin holder.

The confirmed development is the 3,311 BTC acquisition and the resulting 32,773 BTC balance. The filing does not guarantee that Strive will continue buying at the same pace, and Bitcoin treasury strategies remain exposed to market, financing and dilution risk.
