Strive, Inc. purchased 6,182 Bitcoin for approximately $511.4 million between October 17 and October 23, 2026, lifting its corporate treasury to 43,000 BTC. The Dallas-based company disclosed the acquisition in an October 26 SEC filing, reporting an average purchase cost of approximately $82,732 per coin, including fees and expenses.
The latest purchase increased Strive’s Bitcoin holdings by about 16.8% in one week, from 36,818 BTC as of October 16. Chief Executive Matt Cole also highlighted a new financing facility that could support additional purchases, although the company has not said the entire amount will be raised or spent.
In his October 26 announcement on X, Cole reported the acquisition, the new 43,000-BTC balance and the potential $1 billion SATS funding program.
A larger Bitcoin treasury and a new funding option
Strive’s separate SEC filing established an at-the-market program allowing up to $1 billion of its 15% SATS perpetual preferred shares to be sold over time. Authorization is not the same as a completed sale. Actual proceeds will depend on market demand, issuance decisions and financing terms.
The company also reported $504.4 million in cash and cash equivalents as of October 23, plus approximately $50.2 million in Strategy’s STRC preferred stock. Its common shares outstanding increased during the reporting week, showing why investors must track Bitcoin per share, not simply total corporate holdings.
How this purchase compares with earlier additions
Strive previously reported an additional 1,223 BTC in mid-October alongside its $630 million SATS initial offering. An earlier 3,311-BTC acquisition also helped accelerate its accumulation. The new 6,182-BTC purchase is a separate, larger transaction, rather than a restatement of either announcement.
For context, BitcoinVersus.Tech’s public-company Bitcoin treasury comparison shows how concentrated corporate holdings have become. Strive’s next filings will indicate whether the new financing facility translates into further purchases, while its dividend obligations and changes in share count remain essential to evaluating the strategy.
