NVIDIA added DLSS 4.5 controls to GeForce NOW on October 15, 2026, giving cloud-gaming members more direct control over how supported games balance image quality and performance. The new settings cover DLSS Super Resolution, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction.
Ultimate members streaming from GeForce RTX 5080-powered cloud rigs can use the highest options NVIDIA lists for the service, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation up to 4X. That is distinct from the broader local-PC DLSS 4.5 feature set, where compatible RTX 50-series hardware can reach higher multipliers. BitcoinVersus.Tech recently covered NVIDIA making DLSS 5 faster, RTX 5090 chip supply pressure and the changing cloud-gaming market.
NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW Gamescom 2026 update previewed DLSS 4.5 controls and other next-generation cloud-gaming features.
The controls are available in the GeForce NOW app on Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and Steam OS. NVIDIA says the goal is to let players tune supported games for sharper images, smoother motion or a preferred balance between the two. Its DLSS documentation describes Dynamic Multi Frame Generation as an AI-based system that changes frame-generation behavior to match performance targets.
The same weekly update adds 10 games to the cloud service, including Enshrouded 1.0 and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 at launch. The larger technical shift is that some graphics controls normally associated with owning newer GPU hardware are increasingly becoming settings delivered from the data center instead.
