Razer introduced its Reclusa Mini 65% magnetic gaming keyboard on October 27, adding hot-swappable magnetic switches, adjustable actuation and three connection options to a compact layout. The $129.99 U.S. keyboard targets players who want Hall Effect controls without giving up wireless use or replacing the entire board to try a different compatible switch.

The new model combines 2.4 GHz HyperSpeed Wireless, Bluetooth pairing for up to three devices, and USB-C wired connectivity. Razer specifies polling rates of up to 8,000 Hz when wired; the company does not claim that maximum for either wireless mode. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured latency results.

Adjustable Magnetic Switches Meet a Compact Layout

Its magnetic switches allow actuation adjustments between 0.1 and 4.0 millimeters. In principle, an earlier actuation point can make a key register with less travel, while a deeper setting can help prevent accidental inputs. Rapid Trigger adjusts reset behavior as a key moves, and Razer also lists Snap Tap, Snap Flex and dual-keypress priority among the available control features. Players can use six onboard presets instead of configuring every setting from the beginning.

The keyboard also accepts compatible third-party magnetic switches. That matters because magnetic switches are not interchangeable with every conventional mechanical switch: buyers still need to check physical fit and sensor compatibility before purchasing replacements. The product joins a growing field of compact gaming peripherals aimed at enthusiast players using systems such as those compared in our 2026 desktop GPU ranking.

The Reclusa lineup also includes the earlier Reclusa X Mini 65%, but the two models should not be conflated: the new Mini 65% is the magnetic-switch wireless model. Razer also includes per-key Chroma RGB lighting and a multifunction control dial, features that help distinguish it from a barebones compact board.

Inside the Keyboard

Razer describes an internal stack designed to make the keyboard feel and sound more controlled: an IXPE foam layer, a PPS plate, lubricated stabilizers and dual-layer silicone dampening. Its doubleshot ABS keycaps and south-facing LEDs are familiar choices in enthusiast keyboard design. The company rates its magnetic switches for 100 million keystrokes, a durability claim that cannot be confirmed from a launch announcement alone.

The practical question is whether these additions improve everyday play enough to justify the price. Wireless performance, acoustics, key feel and battery endurance will require independent testing. The launch specifications establish the product’s feature set, but not a verified advantage over competing magnetic keyboards. Razer lists the Reclusa Mini 65% on its official product page, where regional price and availability may vary.
