Bitdeer Sells All 258.6 BTC Mined as Weekly Output Falls Again

Bitdeer Technologies Group sold every bitcoin it mined during the latest reporting week, reporting 258.6 BTC produced and 258.6 BTC sold for the period ending November 6, 2026. The Singapore-based miner’s November 7 company update on X also listed zero net Bitcoin added and zero “pure holdings,” excluding customer deposits. The figures describe a weekly operating update, not the company’s consolidated balance sheet or an audited earnings release.

Mining output slips for a second consecutive week

The latest tally follows 265.5 BTC in the week ending October 30 and 283.4 BTC in the week ending October 23. Production fell approximately 2.6% week over week and 8.8% across the three reporting dates. Bitdeer reported selling all the coins mined in both earlier weeks as well, totaling 807.5 BTC produced and sold across the three updates. No realized sale prices were provided in the weekly posts.

Bitcoin mining combines specialized SHA-256 computers, or ASICs, with electricity and pool infrastructure to compete for block rewards and transaction fees. Output depends on machines online, their hashrate, network difficulty, curtailment and pool payout conditions. Three lower weekly totals do not, by themselves, establish equipment failure or a deliberate reduction in hashrate. Earlier BitcoinVersus.Tech coverage recorded Bitdeer’s 300.6-BTC weekly sale in October and its September position among major mining companies.

Zero pure holdings is not the same as zero accounting holdings

Bitdeer’s September operating release reported 47 BTC held at month-end, versus 61 BTC in August. Its formal monthly definition includes coins pledged as collateral but excludes customer deposits; the weekly X wording instead describes “pure holdings.” Different dates and definitions explain why a zero weekly figure should not be represented as proof that every Bitcoin asset or pledged balance vanished. An up-to-date consolidated balance requires a subsequent company filing.

Cash conversion supports flexibility, not guaranteed profitability

Selling newly mined BTC converts inventory into liquidity and reduces the company’s exposure to future Bitcoin price changes on coins it retains. However, sale proceeds are not the same as mining profit: electricity, hosting, maintenance, depreciation and financing costs still matter. Nor has Bitdeer disclosed a specific use of the cash received from the latest 258.6 BTC sales.

The company is also building an AI infrastructure business. Its September update listed approximately $2.9 billion in AI cloud revenue backlog and proposed Malaysia capacity scheduled for 2027 and 2028. Backlog describes contracted future business, not revenue already earned. Earlier BitcoinVersus.Tech reporting covered Bitdeer’s A201 AI commitments and the distinction between ASIC chip efficiency tests and commercial machine ratings.

Next verification comes with quarterly results

Bitdeer has scheduled its third-quarter earnings release and conference call for November 10 at 8 a.m. Eastern Time. The results should offer more context on mining margins, cash flows, capital spending and AI development. The weekly production update establishes what was mined and sold, but cannot independently establish the realized average Bitcoin price, net profit per coin or whether the lower output will persist.

Editor’s Note: The November 6 output, sales and pure-holdings figures were checked against Bitdeer’s original November 7 X post. The October 23 and 30 comparisons were confirmed against its October 24 and October 31 company posts. The distinction between pure holdings, pledged Bitcoin and customer deposits follows Bitdeer’s September operating disclosure. The November 10 earnings schedule was checked against the company’s official announcement. The chart contains sourced company figures; the featured cover is a clearly labeled conceptual editorial illustration, not an actual Bitdeer facility or verified fleet photograph.
