The Financial Times reports that Mark Zuckerberg says Meta has caught up with OpenAI and Anthropic at the AI frontier after launching Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full. Meta calls the pair its most capable models yet, built for long-running agents, coding, computer use, law, finance and other multi-step work.
The word frontier is still a claim, not a settled ranking. Meta’s own evaluations show Wonder competing with leading OpenAI and Anthropic models on agent, memory and coding tests. Independent evaluator Artificial Analysis gives Muse Wonder Full an Intelligence Index score of 56 and says it places in the top three on six of its ten evaluations. That supports the case that Meta is competitive, but it does not prove one model is universally best.
Meta’s developer documentation lists Muse Wonder at $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens. Wonder is available through the Meta Model API and Muse Code, while Wonder Full is limited to Muse Code subscribers. Meta says the models were trained at its gigawatt-scale Prometheus data center.
The release extends themes BitcoinVersus.Tech has tracked in Muse hardware, open-source Muse gadgets and always-on AI agents.
