Hyperscale Data reported approximately $50.6 million in Bitcoin, cash and restricted cash as of November 1, 2026, while targeting December energization of its first 10 megawatts of critical IT capacity at a Michigan artificial-intelligence data center. The Las Vegas company disclosed the figures on November 3, positioning its digital-asset holdings alongside an infrastructure expansion whose commercial performance remains unproven.

The company held 211.4639 BTC valued at roughly $16.5 million using a Bitcoin closing price of $78,248, plus $34.1 million in cash and restricted cash. Bitcoin represented approximately 32.6% of the reported combined amount. Restricted cash is not necessarily available for ordinary operating expenses, making the $50.6 million total different from unrestricted liquidity.

Michigan Expansion Faces a December Milestone

Executive Chairman Milton “Todd” Ault III said the company is working toward energizing an initial 10 MW of critical IT capacity in December. Critical IT capacity describes the power available to computing equipment, not the entire facility’s electrical draw. Cooling, power conversion and supporting systems add overhead. Energization also does not establish full server occupancy, customer billing or positive operating margins.

The targeted milestone follows a recently announced master services agreement. The November 3 release did not establish that the initial 10 MW was already operating, nor did it report realized revenue from the planned deployment. Investors therefore face an execution test involving electrical readiness, commissioning, customer acceptance and utilization.

For context, BitcoinVersus.Tech previously examined major Michigan data center projects and the distinction between planned infrastructure and delivered computing capacity. Its compute-per-joule analysis explains why electrical efficiency remains central to the economics of both Bitcoin mining and AI computing.

Bitcoin Exposure Adds Financial Volatility

The Bitcoin position introduces direct market-price exposure alongside the company’s construction and financing requirements. A hypothetical 10% Bitcoin price decline, with the coin count unchanged, would reduce the reported BTC component by approximately $1.65 million. Such a scenario is not a forecast and excludes any changes in accounting treatment, sales, purchases or hedging.

The company’s investor-relations archive also shows a previous combined Bitcoin-and-cash figure of approximately $55.3 million as of October 18. The $4.7 million difference from November 1 cannot be attributed solely to Bitcoin prices without a reconciliation of cash movements, restrictions and digital-asset transactions.

Divestiture and Financing Remain Open Questions

Hyperscale Data expects to divest Ault Capital Group in 2027 through a voluntary exchange involving Series F preferred shares. Completion, timing and shareholder participation remain uncertain. The proposed separation could simplify the company’s focus on high-performance computing, but execution costs, financing conditions and the value of the remaining businesses warrant scrutiny.

The company has also engaged Newmark to seek long-term financing for the Michigan development. Seeking financing does not guarantee funding, and the November 3 announcement did not disclose final financing terms. Future disclosures should clarify unrestricted cash, construction spending, debt obligations, commissioned megawatts, contracted revenue and actual utilization.
