Auradine AH3880 Reaches 600 TH/s With Hydro Cooling

Editorial illustration of a next-generation 600 TH/s air-cooled Bitcoin ASIC miner in a modern mining data center.

Auradine‘s Teraflux AH3880 is a hydro-cooled Bitcoin miner rated for up to 600 TH/s. Auradine’s AH3880 datasheet lists 450 TH/s at 14.5 J/TH in normal mode and 600 TH/s at 16.75 J/TH in turbo mode. Auradine separately announced a newer third-generation Teraflux lineup in November 2025 with efficiency reaching 9.8 J/TH in hydro and immersion eco modes.

According to Auradine’s AH3880 datasheet, the miner uses hydro cooling and supports a 0–600 TH/s operating range. Auradine’s November 2025 third-generation Teraflux announcement is the source for the newer 9.8 J/TH efficiency figure.

AH3880 reaches 600 TH/s with hydro cooling

The AH3880’s 600 TH/s turbo specification is distinct from the 9.8 J/TH efficiency quoted for Auradine’s newer third-generation Teraflux systems. The AH3880 datasheet lists 16.75 J/TH at 600 TH/s. That places its published operating point farther from BITMAIN’s 8.9 J/TH S23 XP Hydro than earlier air-cooled generations did to their liquid-cooled counterparts. The AH3880 draws 5.88 kW at its rated operating point, making electrical branch-circuit design and airflow management especially important.

That combination also highlights the broader slowdown in easy efficiency gains discussed in recent Bitcoin mining efficiency analysis. As leading machines move toward single-digit J/TH, each additional improvement becomes harder to achieve without changes in silicon, voltage, thermal design and system architecture.

In a company update, Auradine highlighted its newer Teraflux generation. Those newer specifications should not be conflated with the earlier AH3880 datasheet.

Efficiency changes the economics of every megawatt

At 9.8 J/TH, one megawatt of idealized machine load corresponds to roughly 102 PH/s before accounting for site overhead. That is why small J/TH changes become large electricity differences when multiplied across a data center.

The comparison is especially relevant as operators replace older fleets. BitcoinVersus recently documented how S21-generation machines are becoming the new fleet baseline and how one operator gained substantially more hashrate from the same electrical envelope through a same-power ASIC refresh.

A U.S.-designed ASIC enters a crowded hardware race

Auradine’s significance extends beyond one specification sheet. The Bitcoin ASIC market has historically been dominated by Asian manufacturers. BitcoinVersus’ ASIC architecture comparison tracks the competing silicon and system approaches from BITMAIN, Canaan, MicroBT and Bitdeer, while Bitdeer is building SEALMINER manufacturing capacity in Nevada.

Auradine says the AH3880 is designed in the United States and currently manufactured in Thailand. That does not make its supply chain entirely domestic, but it adds another hardware architecture to a market where miner availability, firmware control, serviceability and sourcing geography increasingly matter alongside raw TH/s.

Hydro cooling changes the infrastructure requirements

The AH3880 uses hydro cooling, so deployment requires coolant distribution, pumps and heat-rejection infrastructure appropriate to the site. Auradine’s datasheet specifies approximately one liter of coolant per miner and a coolant-flow range of roughly 5–20 liters per minute.

At the AH3880’s published turbo point, 600 TH/s at 16.75 J/TH corresponds to roughly 10 kW of machine power. Site engineering therefore needs to account for both electrical load and the hydro loop’s heat rejection rather than treating the miner as a conventional air-cooled chassis.

What to verify as shipments reach mining sites

The next useful data will come from independent wall-power and pool-side testing. Operators should verify sustained accepted hashrate, actual wall consumption, J/TH, fan power, inlet-temperature sensitivity, rejected shares, noise, firmware stability and performance across EnergyTune settings.

Auradine’s published AH3880 specifications support up to 600 TH/s, but not at 9.8 J/TH. The 9.8 J/TH figure belongs to the newer third-generation Teraflux hydro and immersion eco modes announced in November 2025.
