Delta Brings 800 VDC Power and 3 MW Cooling to OCP 2026

Photorealistic AI data center with 800 VDC power distribution and large liquid cooling infrastructure

Delta Electronics says it will bring an integrated mix of 800 VDC power distribution, megawatt-scale liquid cooling, solid-state transformers and onsite energy systems to the OCP Global Summit in San Jose, October 12–15.

According to Delta’s October 8 announcement, the company will show its 3 MW GoCool liquid-to-liquid cooling system, a 2 MW Project Deschutes Open In-Row CDU, and a separate 800 VDC 3.6 MW liquid-to-liquid CDU. Delta says Project Deschutes is planned for mass production in Q1 2027.

The power side includes 800 VDC and ±400 VDC architectures, high-current busbars and a solid-state transformer designed to convert medium-voltage AC directly to lower-voltage DC. Delta is also pairing that hardware with microgrids using storage, onsite generation and controls.

This follows the same industry shift seen in Trane’s 3.5 MW 800 VDC chiller, Schneider Electric’s 3.5 MW WCDU, and Microchip and Navitas’ 800 V-to-6 V rack converter: AI infrastructure is pushing power conversion and cooling closer together.

The Open Compute Project says the 2026 summit is focused on scaling infrastructure for the AI era and is already sold out.
